Terms of use
Version of November 1, 2026
These terms apply to the online (browser) version of Quidditch Manager and to your account. By creating an account you accept them, together with the privacy policy.
The game
- Quidditch Manager is a free, non-commercial fan game. It has no payments, no advertising and no in-game purchases.
- It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by J.K. Rowling, Warner Bros., Bloomsbury or Wizarding World Digital. Harry Potter, Quidditch and all related names and marks belong to their owners.
- It is run by Quidditch Manager.
Your account
- You need a free account to play in the browser. The desktop versions need none.
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- There is no password: you sign in with Google or with a link sent to your email. Use an email address that is yours, keep it secure, and sign out on shared devices.
- You are responsible for what happens with your account.
Usernames and conduct
- Your username is public. It must not be offensive, hateful or sexual, must not impersonate anyone (another person, the game or its team), and must not contain personal data such as a phone number.
- We may ask you to choose a new username. Until you do, you cannot play online.
- Do not attack or overload the service, do not try to get into other people's accounts, and do not create accounts automatically.
- If you find a security problem, please report it privately to [email protected].
Your saves
Your saved games are kept in your browser, not on our servers. Browsers can delete stored data, so download your save regularly. We cannot recover lost saves.
Ending your account
- You can delete your account at any time on your account page.
- We may block or delete accounts that break these terms.
- We may change or stop the online service at any time. The desktop versions stay free to download.
No warranty
The game and the website are provided free of charge and "as is", without any warranty. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss caused by using them, such as lost saves. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that mandatory consumer law of your country gives you.
The code
The game's source code is free software under the MIT licence. That licence covers the code only: not the Harry Potter names and characters, and not the third-party images listed in the project's attribution file.
Changes
We may change these terms. When a change matters, we update the version date at the top, and you will be asked to accept the new version the next time you sign in.
Language
These terms are written in English, and the English text is the authoritative version. Translations into other languages are provided for convenience; if a translation differs from the English text, the English text prevails.
